Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Spray Tans by Lucy Mae, a sole trader mobile spray tanning business trading as "Spray Tans by Lucy Mae". By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
2. Our services
We provide fully mobile spray tanning services using Sienna X products, travelling to clients' homes and other agreed locations across Hertfordshire and, where agreed, further afield. Bridal and occasion makeup services are offered separately under our sister brand, Faces by Lucy Mae (https://facesbylucymae.com), and are subject to that brand's own terms.
3. Bookings
Bookings can be made via our contact form or by phone. A booking is confirmed once we have acknowledged your requested date, time, and location.
4. Pricing
Current pricing is £40 for one person, £70 for two people, and £90 for three people. Fixed pricing for larger groups (e.g. hen parties or bridal parties) is quoted individually on request. Prices are correct at the time of booking but may change — the price confirmed at booking is the price you'll pay.
5. Deposits

6. Travel fees
Travel within Hertfordshire is included in our standard pricing. For bookings outside Hertfordshire, a small travel fee applies, calculated per mile from our usual coverage area. This will be confirmed and agreed with you before your booking is finalised.
7. Cancellations & rescheduling
We understand plans change. [Owner to confirm] — please specify your required notice period for cancellations or rescheduling, and whether any fee applies to late cancellations or no-shows.
8. Patch tests
We strongly recommend a patch test at least 24–48 hours before your first spray tan appointment, particularly if you have sensitive skin or any known allergies. It is your responsibility to inform us of any known skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions that may affect your treatment before your appointment.
9. Liability
We take all reasonable care in providing our spray tanning services using professional Sienna X products. However, we cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction or adverse skin reaction where a patch test was not carried out beforehand, or where relevant skin sensitivities or conditions were not disclosed to us in advance. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Your responsibilities
For your mobile appointment, please ensure a suitable, private, well-lit space is available (such as a bathroom or spare room), that flooring is protected as advised, and that you follow any pre-tan preparation instructions we provide (such as exfoliating and avoiding certain products beforehand).
11. Payment

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
